HAF Programme

The HAF – Holiday Activities and Food – government programme was born in 2021. It aims to provide kids who are entitled to free school meals with the activities and nutrition needed to make sure their school holidays are healthy and enriching.
As HAF becomes available to every local authority across England, Foxes Club is proud to support the initiative. We offer free places for eligible kids to join in with our Holiday Clubs and experience the fun, fitness and friendships that we encourage.
Each session includes a healthy meal and expert coaching for a whole range of activities: from arts and crafts, dance and performance, to tennis, dodgeball, tag rugby or even ultimate frisbee. We want to make sure every kid gets the memorable and healthy holidays they’re entitled to.
Who is eligible?
HAF is open to kids from reception age up to Year 11. To apply for a place, you’ll need to meet the following Government-approved criteria. You must be:
- Receiving free school meals
- From a low-income household
- Disadvantaged and experiencing food poverty
If your kid doesn’t meet the above criteria but your family can’t afford regular childcare during school holidays, we may still be able to offer you a free place. We reserve up to 15% of our capacity to ensure we can help kids who need our support, fun and friendship during the holidays.
