OUR NETBALL LEAGUE

Every Friday evening, young players can enjoy the excitement of team netball with the Foxes Netball League – Kensington’s first junior netball league, at Avondale Park, W11.

Open to girls and boys aged 7 to 14, the league gives kids the chance to play regular competitive matches, be part of a team and develop their skills alongside friends old and new – all in a fun, friendly and professionally organised environment.

With qualified coaches, experienced umpires and a strong focus on fair play, confidence and enjoyment, it’s the perfect introduction to competitive netball the Foxes way. Teams of 5–8 players from the same school year can enter together – school teams, classmates or friendship groups. We recommend a squad of 6–8 to cover absences. Short of a full squad? We’ll help connect you with other families looking to complete a team.

From weekly fixtures and league tables to end-of-season trophies and awards, the Foxes Netball League brings together everything kids love about sport: teamwork, friendship, competition and fun.

LEAGUE FAQS

No - the league is open to boys and girls aged 7 to 14. Teams can be all-girls, all-boys or mixed, as long as everyone is in the same school year.

No experience needed - the league is designed for all levels, from complete first-timers to school-team players. Year-group divisions and our focus on fun, confidence and fair play mean every player gets a proper game at the right level.

All matches are played at Avondale Park, Kensington W11, on floodlit all-weather courts, every Friday evening of the autumn term from 4 September 2026. Indicative match times are 18:00 for Years 3–4, 18:40 for Years 5–6 and 19:20 for Years 7–9 - your exact fixture time is confirmed once all teams are in.

The founding season is £995 per team for the full autumn term - around £11 per player per match night for a squad of 7. A £100 team deposit secures your place, with the balance due before the season starts.

Register your interest using the form on this page, and we'll send you everything you need to secure your team's place. Teams are made up of 5–8 players from the same school year - school teams, classmates or friendship groups (we recommend 6–8 players to cover absences). Short of a full squad? Register anyway and we'll help connect you with other families looking to complete a team.

The league runs in year-group divisions from Year 3 to Year 9, so every team plays opponents of the same age. Each team plays a fixture every Friday evening, with league tables tracking progress through the season and trophies and awards at the end of term.

Every team has a weekly 40-minute fixture slot. Matches are played in four short quarters suited to each age group, so players get plenty of court time every single week.

Qualified netball coaches and umpires run every match night, all DBS-checked and meeting the same quality and safeguarding standards as every Foxes Club programme. Our focus is on fair play, confidence and enjoyment - competitive netball, properly organised.

Yes! Every team needs a parent organiser, and parents who'd like to manage their team on match nights are very welcome. Prefer to leave it to us? We're launching a Foxes-coached team option, where one of our coaches manages your team on the night - register your interest and ask to join the coached list. PE teachers and schools wanting to enter a team should also get in touch.

Thirteen Friday match nights across the autumn term, played on floodlit all-weather courts and run by qualified coaches and umpires. Every team gets weekly fixtures, league tables tracked through the season, and an end-of-season awards night where every player receives a medal and winning teams take home trophies.

Trainers and comfortable sports kit - match bibs are provided each week. Just bring a water bottle and you're set.
